Great collectible

I wouldn't call this a toy in the true sense of the word "toy." It's a collectible. I'm sure kids would have some fun playing with this version of Superman. Parents might not when they've dished out $70-$80 plus for this guy. He's not educational. The outfit won't survive rough play.
This is a good representation of Kingdom Come Superman. He's 13" tall and puts him slightly taller then most 1/6 figures which are traditionally 12". If you are a collector this is a nice addition to the collection. He doesn't really fit with the rest of my 1/6 collection; due to size. I'm purchasing the Justice Batman to go along with him.
There are a few negatives for me: There are cut bicep joints that look terrible through the suit when turned at certain angles. His lips have a gloss to them that I gather was suppose to resemble wet lips, but instead makes him look like a teenage girl with lip gloss. He can't rest him arms down by his sides due to the large lats on the base body. Also due to the nature of the underlying body he has no hips which make him look odd at the waist.

A superman collector must have

I am a huge Superman fan/collector and this is a great, great collector figure. The pics online do not do this justice. The face sculpt is amazing with piercing blue eyes and a stern classic Superman expression. This is by far, in my opinion, the best of this line by DC direct. The others I've seen aren't as nice or detailed. My only complaint would be the cut bicep joints, which do look odd if not lined up through the costume. But if you're just using a standard pose to display in your collection, like me, you will have no trouble with this issue. It's very big and very regal and majestic looking with very high quality material for the costume. A must have for any serious Superman collector in my opinion. I highly recommend it!!
