KidKraft Playhouse

I ordered this for my 2 year old, and she LOVES it!! Looking at it online, I was worried it wouldn't be big enough or be very sturdy; however, It is big enough and my daughter is very tall for her age. It is sturdy, and a great product. I helped my husband put it together and the instructions are easy to follow. The box arrived beat up and I was worried there would be several missing pieces and broken parts, but the damage was very minimal. We were missing a few bolts/screws, but we still put the whole thing together making it work. I contacted KidKraft, and they are sending the damaged and missing parts no charge. Great customer service!! After reading a few reviews on where to set the house, I bought horse mats made of recycled rubber (tractor supply 6'x4') to put underneath as the floor to keep a more level surface and help keep it from sitting in the rain.

Great Playhouse!!

This is such a cute house!! As far as the assembly goes--my husband and I worked on it for a week only in the evenings after my 3-yr-old daughter went to bed--we'd do 5-6 steps each night (34 steps total). It was fairly easy to put together, and it's built well. It's not quite warm enough here (in April) to use it outdoors yet, but we've had it in the garage, and our daughter has been enjoying it a lot. We had friends over and six little girls ages 3-8 played in/with it for a LONG time, they all loved it. We are very pleased with this purchase! And the price wasn't bad at all!

Great Playhouse

My kids are loving this playhouse. The wood was thinner than I expected, but it is well made. I may end up reinforcing the walls with PT wood at some point just to make it a little stronger, but i'm really happy with having a wooden playhouse over a plastic one. The house is a good size, but my kids (4 1/2 and 3) are on the small side, so they fit nicely.

My only issue is that I was missing a couple of screws and more surprisingly the top part of the roof. So I have to wait 7-10 days for KidKraft to send to me (Made it easy to order through their website, not Amazon's fault)... which means I can't finish putting it together and can't put the cupola on top. Thankfully this didn't stop me from being able to get it together and the kids can play in it.

This is a really cute playhouse with realistic (not plastic) charm.
