Jedi Knight and friend of Captain Solo

This Luke Skywalker figure as Jedi Knight was part Kenner's 12" Star Wars Action Collection line. Kenner's figures aren't the works of art that the later Sideshow figures are, but I really enjoyed collecting the `90s 12" figure line.

Pros - This is probably the best of the Luke Skywalker figures Kenner released. The head sculpt for the first time actually looked like the character. His Jedi outfit was well put-together and we finally got a green lightsaber (though they made it a sickly glow-in-the-dark version). He also came with the bone Luke used against the Rancor in Return of the Jedi.

Cons - Nothing. This is a really good looking figure.

The later Sideshow figure may be more impressive, but this Luke Skywalker is one of the highlights of Kenner's 12" Star Wars figure line.

NOTE - Luke Skywalker as Jedi Knight was previously available in an exclusive 2-pack that also included a 12" Bib Fortuna. That version had a green (non-glowing) lightsaber and full cloak.
