Kotobukiya Star Wars Han Solo in Carbonite Deluxe Silicone Tray

Product Description

A Kotobukiya Japanese import. Three great Star Wars Silicone Ice Trays are back, and this time they're super-sized. The fun gets frosty with the Han Solo in Carbonite DX Silicone Ice Tray. Perfect for everything from family fun to Star Wars themed parties, this handy tray lets you capture ice, bread, chocolate, jelly, jello, or anything else you can think of in the familiar shape of Jabba the Hutt's prized possession. Accurately replicating the look of Han's imprisonment from the Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi, the sturdy silicone is both heat and ice resistant making it almost as durable as real carbonite. Three times bigger than the large-sized Han Solo from the original tray, this new Deluxe-sized gray tray creates one huge block of Carbon-frozen Han Solo ice. The DX silicone trays are the perfect complement to the Lightsaber Chopsticks (sold separately).

great!
By randall dunn
I wish it was bigger for a full sized cake but it worked. I tried three different cakes to see how to get it right. Pound cake was the best. I tried to spray it and the feet and hands kept coming off after I got it out of the mold. The best thing was using fondant to mold and lay ontop of the cake after I got it out of the mold. There is a releaser to buy and spray on the mold before you stick fondant in there. I sprayed the fondant silver with cake spray. It was great. Will try it wih jello and ice next.

still trying to figure out how to make jell-o work
By Skywalker
I love the mold, and it was larger than I was anticipating. The first thing I tried was making jell-o, but even though I followed the instructions for a mold (as best I could), it didn't separate right. Probably takes a bit more patience to release.

The details are pretty good, and the volume should enough to make brownies. It took 2 jello packs to fill it
